Yummy in my Tummy

In order to promote healthy food habits first graders wrote their personal likes and dislikes about food. We worked different values and attitudes like:

- To express personal likes and dislikes.

- To respect for other students' opinions.

- To foster that it is important to eat food that is good for you.

- To foster of the importance of eating a good lunch.

VALENTINE'S DAY

The first and second grade celebrated Valentine's day on February 14. We completed an original poem and learned new vocabulary.

GREEN EGGS AND HAM Reading Project

Our Second grade reading project was inspired by Dr. Seuss' book: GREEN EGGS AND HAM.

Students focused on the four English Skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing).

We developed some interesting activities for our children:

- We watched a video where students met the principal character: Sam.

- We sang a funny song.

- We played interactive games in the Digital Board (Seussville web).

- We wrote a letter to Sam.

- We made giant posters!! It was awesome!!

- We coloured some pictures about this book.

- We modeled plasticine and… of course!!

We had a lot fun!!!
